1. You have read The Breadwinner and learned about modern day Afghanistan in your social studies class. First create a KWL chart and include at least three facts that you know about Afghanistan. If you know more you can include as many facts as you can recall.
2. Using your KWL chart, write down five questions about the Afghanistan. These questions will appear in the W column for What you want to learn.
3. Using any CPS database, or a reliable website, find answers to your questions and complete the KWL chart. If you are using a website, you must be able to write down the name of the website creator or source, such as an historical museum of educational institution. Please note that you MAY NOT use Wikipedia as your website.
4. Using any technology we have learned about this year ( Animoto, Bitstrips), create a presentation which displays your knowledge. You may also choose to use iPads and the app Educreations to create your presentation--this is extra credit!
